Dial thermometers
Dial thermometers with scale ranges from -200 to +700 °C
Our dial thermometers work on the bimetal, expansion or gas actuation principle. This enables scale ranges of -200 to +700 °C in different class accuracies, response times and resilience to environmental influences. Diverse connection designs, stem diameters and individual stem lengths enable a flexible measuring location design. Dial thermometers with remote capillaries are particularly versatile. All thermometers are suited for operation in a thermowell if necessary.

Display and monitor limit values
Wherever the process temperature has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, limit values must be monitored, thermometers with switch contacts find their application. The switch contacts make or break the circuit dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instrument. If the reading is significantly above or below a set value, they trigger an alarm, hence also the term “alarm contact”. The instruments are also suitable for starting, stopping or switching processes.
Model TGS55
Wherever the process temperature has to be indicated on-site and, at the same time, circuits need to be switched, the bimetal thermometer with switch contacts finds its use. Switch contacts (electrical alarm contacts) make or break circuits dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instrument. The switch contacts are adjustable over the full measuring range. The instrument pointer (actual value pointer) moves freely across the entire scale range, independent of the setting. The set pointer can be adjusted via the window using a removable adjustment key (mounted on the terminal box).

The compact temperature controllers from WIKA offer display, control and monitoring of temperatures. The configuration of the sensor input is made via the multi-function input. Resistance thermometers, thermocouples and standard industrial signals, such as 4 … 20 mA, serve as the input variable of a temperature controller. The monitoring output can be set either as relay (for slow control), as logic level for the control of electronic solid-state relays (for fast control and high current loads) or as a continuous 4 … 20 mA output.
Models CS6S, CS6H, CS6L
The compact PID temperature controllers of the CS6x series offer display, control and monitoring of temperatures.
The PID temperature controllers feature a multi-function input for resistance thermometers, thermocouples and standard signals, meaning the configuration of the sensor input can be set. Thermowells / protection tubes
For each measuring location requirement the optimum thermowell or protection tube
Thermowells or protection tubes from WIKA are used with demanding operating conditions both in solid-machined versions from bar stock material and in fabricated versions with tubular design. The variants offered differ mainly in their designs; with flanges, threaded or for welding in. The connection of the protection tubes by flange is universal and is used in many processes. The compact form of the threaded connection saves space and mounting is also very easy. If the process safety and robustness is important, the thermowells can be welded into the process directly. Furthermore, all connections for sanitary applications and also thermowells in Vanstone design are available without weld seams. The selection of materials and the manufacturing of the thermowells or protection tubes in accordance with global standards or to customer specifications ensure optimal protection for the sensor.

WIKA multipoint thermometers: worldwide leaders in temperature measurement
Multipoint thermometers are used in various applications in the refining and petrochemical industry. WIKA is a world leader in flexible multipoint sensor thermometry and the preferred solution of many major companies and licensors. Our advanced multipoint solutions, including FLEX-R® and FLEX-O®, are recognised as leading technologies in the industry. Additional multipoint products for global market requirements include traditional multipoint designs such as pipewells, T-bar, spring-loaded, bimetallic spring, and heat transfer block. Innovative mini-multipoint solutions where point density and thermocouple size matter include both stuffed and drawn assemblies to solve challenging applications.
Models TR96-O, TC96-O
Multipoint thermometers are often used for measuring temperature profiles in reactors or fuel depots or for the detection of the so-called “hotspots”.
To achieve rapid response times, the individual measuring points are pressed by pressure springs to the internal side of the pipewell which forms a single entity with the thermometer or which can ideally be an already existing component of the reactor. Connection terminals or temperature transmitters are placed in the connection housing which is either a component of the multipoint thermometer or can be mounted separately, e.g. on a wall or pipeline.
